We provide natural angus or jersey beef, both 100% grass-finished, and corn-finished steers, depending on the time of year. All of our animals are raised without added growth hormones or antibiotics (a minimum of nine months prior to processing), and raised exclusively in the open air on pasture. You can purchase our beef by-the-cut or in large packages (up to a side or whole beef). Our beef is provided cut, wrapped, and frozen, and is available for pick-up on the farm, or delivered to your doorstep with a smile(!). cates family farm smoked meats and Holiday gift boxes are available, in season.
Days / Hours of Operation:
Call ahead for an appointment to pick up at the farm; or, deliveries to your door with a smile (!) are made nearly every week of the year.

Driving Directions:
Travel west of Madison on Hwy 14 to Spring Green. Turn south on Hwy 23 for 3 miles and cross the WI River. Go another 3/4 miles on Hwy 23, then turn Left om Hwy T and go for 21/2 miles. The Cates Family farm is at 5992 County T; our name is on our barn!
