Brantmeier Family Farm - established 1991

We have 140+ acres of rolling hills and valleys and a creek in the New Glarus area. We specialize in Garlic, Herbs, Whole Wheat Flour, Greens and other nutrient rich vegetables. (I have a degree in Nutrition.) Although we are not certified Organic, we practice what we call Nature Sensitive Agriculture which I feel goes somewhere beyond conventional/commercial organic. We stress working with Nature and Her Spirits as much as possible; harming Her as little as possible. We limit our use of tractors and plastic as much as possible. For example, we use recycled bags at market and have a market stand made of recycled material instead of the usual plastic stuff. And we use recycled paper berry cartons instead of the plastic ones.
