Indian Creek Elk & Orchard is a family owned Ranch/Apple Orchard.
Our "GOAL" is to provide gourmet farm direct products. Many of these we grow, but we also search out the best Wisconsin Micro-beer, Wine, Honey, Maple Syrup, Wild Rice, Jam, Jellies, Syrups, Pumkins, Squash, Etc. that we can find!
We are in the scenic Northeast corner of Polk County located in the Indian Head region of NW Wisconsin.
We have abundant wildlife (deer/bear/eagles) and very little traffic, conjestion, industry, dirt and smog!
OUR ORCHARD (19 years young) is a high density dwarf and semi-dwarf plantation of newer varieties of apples, pears & berries.
We pride ourselves on our "HONEYCRISP", HARALSON, HONEYGOLD and FIRESIDE APPLES! Our irriigation system, environment and climate allows us to grow the finest APPLES you will find in Wisconsin.
We encourage PICK-YOUR-OWN APPLES, it is great family fun PLUS every APPLE IS THE "APPLE OF YOUR EYE"! Or take a horse carriage ride around the Orchard, stop by our store and buy some pre-picked apples and perhaps a PIE from our BAKERY!
ELK MEAT: We are the largest "independent grower/supplier" of ELK MEAT to restaurants in the Midwest.
This allows us to provide consumers with high quality Elk Burger ($2.00/#) ,Elk Roast ($3.00/#) and other cuts on a regular basis.
Needless to say we all know Elk Meat is healthy, ours is also tender, fresh, steriod free, hormone free, 100% cwd tested, Gvt. Inspected, vac-sealed and TASTY!
WHETHER IT IS APPLES, BERRIES, HONEY, MAPLE SYRUP, PIES FROM OUR BAKERY, ELK MEAT OR JUST A FUN FAMILY OUTTING, INDIAN CREEK IS THE PLACE TO VISIT!

WE ARE OPEN WHEN THE APPLES ARE RIPE (typically mid-July to mid-November), 7 days a week from 10 - 5!

Off season we are open by appointment only or on special ELK MEAT PICK-UP DAYS.

Driving Directions:
North of Frederic on 35, left on CTH E, then left on CTH EE. North of Cumberland on 63, left on CTH H, then left on CTH EE. West from Sooner on 70, south (left)on CTH H 7 miles, then right on CTH EE.
"HONEYCRISP FEST", generally this is the third weekend in September. We feature Honeycrisp Apples both pre-picked and pick-your-own. We also will have Honeycrisp Pies made from SCRATCH and Honeycrisp CARAMEL APPLES. During the event we have horse drawn carriage rides through the Orchard, Apple Wood Smoked Elk Roast Sandwiches, events for the kids and entertainment.
Since we are dependant on "Mother Nature" (the apples must be ripe), call in the fall to confirm the date!
"FAMLY PIE SOCIAL", THE LAST Saturday in SEPTEMBER will be our 10th annual "Augustana at the Orchard Pie Social".
We donate apples, flour, pie tins and the use of our kitchen to the Ladies from Augustana Lutheran Church. They in turn create wonderfull pies from scratch. On Saturday they serve the pies by the slice with ice cream to raise funds for their church.
Thousands of people come to enjoy their pies, entertainment, crafts, vendors and 2 horse carriages for rides through the Orchard!
The "Family Pie Socal" takes over our Orchard, stop by and enjoy it with us!
