Pleasant Hill Market Garden - established 1991

Bookmark and Share

Located just 20 miles southeast of Madison, we grow more than 240 varieties of certified organic vegetables and herbs, chosen for exceptional flavor, culinary appeal and nutritional value. Produce is offered through our CSA program and local retail stores, and may be custom-ordered via e-mail. Specialty crops we feature at the Dane County Farmer's Market include distinctive potatoes, onions and garlic. Pleasant Hill vegetables are also served at fine restaurants in Madison, Milwaukee and Chicago. Brochures and information are available upon request. 2004 marks our 14th season.
Days / Hours of Operation:
Driving Directions:
We are two miles east of Stoughton on Hwy 51. There are several routes to the farm... the easiest to describe being to take 51 (Stoughton Road) all the way to the far east-side of Stoughton. We are 2 miles east of the stoplight at U.S. Hwy 51 and County N. The farm is on the right (SE corner), #705, a butterscotch-colored farmhouse with lots of trees around it, close to the road. The driveway is just past the Pleasant Hill crossroad. The fast way: Hop on I-90 East (I-39 South) to the Stoughton - County N exit 147. Take N south (right) for 6 miles, to U.S. 51 (there is a stoplight). Make a left on 51, and proceed 2 miles to the farm.
