Pine River Dairy Inc. - established 1941

Pine River Dairy is a sixth generation family business which had it's roots in Wisconsin's renowned cheese making history. Now a butter manufacturer with a retail cheese store in the factory, we also offer email orders and mail orders of over 200 varieties of cheese. Pine River Dairy specializes in bulk packaged butter and 1# solids butter for wholesale, also featuring European Style Butter with a butterfat content of 82% compared to 80% for other types of butter. This higher fat content is very desirable for the restaurant markets. Our website was established to keep up with the demand for Wisconsin cheese in other parts of the United States and also to attract tourists to visit when traveling through the area. Our retail store features over 250 varieties available along with an observation window to view the buttermaking process.
Days / Hours of Operation:
Monday through Friday 8AM - 5PM, Saturday 8AM - 1PM.
 
Our facility is handicap accessible.
Driving Directions:
From the I-43 exit #149 in Manitowoc, take Hwy 42 South 2.5 miles. Turn right at English Lake Road, go 2.5 miles to Pine River Dairy, white building on left side of road just before stop sign.
